Dancer, Singer, Composer, Film Writer and Painter

Karen Lynn Gorney is a media legend.
She is the romantic star of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER: the "fantasy girlfriend" who said "no" to John Travolta, and won his heart, in this Super-Mega-Hit Film and Soundtrack.
This ground breaking film and music has been played time and time again, year in and year out, in Cinemas all over the world; on Television, VCR, radio, CD, and was recently released on DVD to raves.
It is more known and popular today than when it first came out.

Miss Gorney is also the legendary TARA MARTIN, one of the original family members on ABC's long running, award winning, ALL MY CHILDREN: a role she originated and still plays today.

A classically trained actress and winner of the People's Choice and European Bravo Awards; with an BFA and a MFA from Carnegie Mellon and Brandeis Universities, Miss Gorney has received raves in New York and throughout the United States, performing everything from Shakespeare to Neil Simon.

Last fall, Off B'way, Karen opened to brilliant reviews as "Constance," in Shakespeare's King John. She was equally well received as "Sister" in Off B'way's long running hysterical comedy Late Night Catechism. This summer , Karen Lynn opens the NorthEastern Shakespeare Ensemble's premiere production of Twelfth Night as the "Countess Olivia." This fall she will portray the "Duchess of Windsor" in the new Comedy, The Duchess and the Duke by John Hart Off B'way.

Karen Lynn is also a trained dancer, having studied from the age of 6 with (to name just a few) Russia's Madame Mordkin (Ballet),  Martha Graham (Modern) Jo-Jo Smith (Jazz). Karen has studied choreography  with dance pioneers, Helen Tamiris and Daniel Nagrin. At present, she performs the pop- forms of New Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Salsa with her champion partners Bobby B. and Roberto Pagan. She has danced at Radio City Music Hall, and Madison Square Garden in addition to many other venues.

Karen Lynn has appeared at many conventions and events throughout the world as Hostess, Master of Ceremonies, and Celebrity Guest.
