Karen Gorney (sic) (Tara) has been busy doing one theatrical production after another. But her return to Pine Valley - when it was revealed that Kelsey was pregnant- made her realize that she misses daytime, and wouldn't mind another return. "It's different now than it used to be," she says, "but a lot of fans I meet tell me that they want Tara to come back."

Karen thinks that there could be a story for Tara.

"There are a lot of things to be said about a woman at that stage of her life," she points out. "It would be interesting to see how Tara would interact with her daughter Kelsey and her own mother, Ruth. The thing with Ruth is that she is incrdibly wise. Kelsey is really stupid and Tara is in the middle, torn between them. A lot of Kelsey is like Tara, a little manipulative, trying to get her own way. I could see where Ruth would have to help Tara too!"
